This review is about the venue. Just next to the Metro Station. Across the street there are few restaurants that you can sit properly for a quick dinner. The seats and acoustics are very good. Full review by P_and_C2013

There is no dress code. You will see a mix of people dressed up in formal suits and gowns as well as people in jeans. I highly recommend booking a site tour prior to your event. The tour lasts over an hour and provides a lot of details about the venue, the opera and ballet company etc. It is inexpensive and well worth your time. I also recommend attending a performance at the Concertgebouw. it is a wonderful hall and very welcoming - free wine - beer - cookies are offered before the performance and at the intermission. Enjoy your stay!
Q:
Is the guided tour (rondleiding) available in English?
A:
Most certainly
