As a Woodward park employee; they are not allowed unless you bring your own stand. City ordinance Title 26, section 103, paragraph ‘U’ states: ‘No person shall attach any rope, cable or other contrivance, or post, paint, erect or place any sign, banner or advertisement to any tree, fence, railing, bridge, bench or other structure’. If you are caught with a hammock we will honestly just ask you to take it down and although I have had people try to argue with me that it is okay for them to hang it, I have not had to have anyone fined in the two years that I have been stationed at the park.

March/April. The azaleas erupt and are stunning. In addition, there is an adjoining series of rose gardens immediately south. Philbrooks brunch is one of the top ten in Tulsa and is on Sunday. Attending brunch allows complimentary access to the museum and grounds which are spectacular. The grounds are stunning. Go with plenty of time to roam. Make reservations. They also have a lovely outdoor patio dining area weather permitting. Enjoy a great Tulsa treasure. MSA

I agree with the other answers. This is more of a walking park in order to enjoy the flowers and fauna. Take the time to smell the roses. There are parking areas where your child can ride its bike without distrupting the landscapte for others.
