We had a fantastic morning exploring Dumbarton Castle. Make sure you have good walking boots and waterproofs for wild, wet days as most of the site is outside. Full review by Virginia M

My wife and i had been looking forward to this and it didn't disappoint. Only £7.50 each for adults and £3.50 for the guide book was also good value. Be prepared for lots of steps and plenty of climb… Full review by Z9814ERneils
There is ample parking. If you cannot park at the castle entrance (bowling green), round the back of the castle (5min walk) is the parking aeea for the football stadium.
