A 16-year-old was shot and killed inside a relative’s home Saturday evening, according to the Annapolis Police Department, marking the city’s first homicide of 2025. Officers responded to the 100 block of Holeclaw Street in Parole at approximately 8 p.m., police spokesperson Miguel Dennis said. The teenager had at least one gunshot wound.

A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot in Annapolis, police said. Officers have not yet released the victim's name.

According to the Annapolis police, around 8 p.m. Saturday officers arrived to 101 Holeclaw Street for a reported shooting. They found a teenage boy suffering from gunshot wounds. The Annapolis Fire Department pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
