Apple’s next iPhone update is almost upon us. When iOS 18.5 is released, it’s probably going to be one of the last versions before the focus switches to iOS 19, to be unveiled on Monday, June 9. Here’s the latest indication of when iOS 18.

Patreon is planning to submit an update to its iOS app that will let creators accept payments outside of Apple’s payment system, spokesperson Adiya Taylor tells The Verge. The planned update follows yesterday’s major Epic Games v. Apple ruling that blocks Apple from collecting fees on payments made outside of apps.

A US court finds Apple violated its orders in the Epic Games case, which has been ongoing since August 2020. It will see the return of Fortnite to iOS for the first time in over four years.
