The Dallas Mavericks dug deep to beat the Atlanta Hawks 129-119. On the second night of a back-to-back, losing the first night in an overtime battle, and multiple guys playing through illness, this was not an easy win for the Mavericks.

Dereck Lively II was ruled out during the second half against the Hawks with an illness, the Mavericks announced. Lively had started Monday’s game, but didn’t return after the halftime break. Daniel Gafford started in his spot going into the second half.

Kyrie Irving had 32 points, six assists and seven rebounds, and the Dallas Mavericks beat the Atlanta Hawks 129-119 without star Luka Doncic.
