Michigan has hired Chip Lindsey as its next offensive coordinator, the school announced Friday. Lindsey served most recently as North Carolina's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the last two seasons and worked with current New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye during the 2023 season.

It was all but official on Tuesday evening when Michigan football had its eye on North Carolina offensive coordinator, Chip Lindsey. The Wolverines have now officially hired Lindsey away from the Tar Heels to make him the new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach in Ann Arbor.

Chip Lindsey, who spent the past two seasons as the offensive coordinator at UNC, has agreed to a deal to become the new offensive coordinator at Michigan, sources told ESPN.
