Hundreds of properties suffered power cuts as Storm Darragh swept across East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Northern Powergrid said it had dealt with more than 120,000 outages during the weekend. North East Lincolnshire Council said a clean-up operation was under way.

NIE Networks says power has been restored to nearly all of its customers following Storm Darragh. It said 15 customers still require more complex repairs but that "generators have been provided to ensure they have electricity until permanent fixes are completed".

Storm Darragh is continuing to cause disruption in Somerset. Over the weekend, trees came down, travel was disrupted and events cancelled as the storm swept across the UK, bringing strong winds and heavy rain. Gusts hit more than 90 miles per hour (144km p/h) in areas around the mouth of the River Severn.
