White House officials announced that President Donald Trump has imposed 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada and 10% tariffs on goods from China. The tariffs will be imposed via three separate executive orders that have been signed for each country,

American importers will pay a new 25-percent tax on goods from Canada and Mexico and a 10-percent levy on products from China, the president said.

Trump is officially imposing 25 per cent tariffs on almost all Canadian goods and a 10 per cent tariff on Canadian energy products, to begin Tuesday.
