A blast of arctic air over the eastern U.S. will bring wintry weather to parts of Florida through the weekend into next week, forecasters said.

A freeze warning is in effect over parts of Northwest Florida where temperatures are expected to dip as low as 28 degrees.

Much of Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia will see freezing temperatures Tuesday night. Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect: Despite full sunshine Tuesday, temperatures have stayed in the 50s area-wide.
