The Hawaiian volcano Kīlauea resumed its spectacular eruption on 15. Lava fountains are now active at two vents on the western side of its caldera, marking the start of the fourth episode of the ongoing eruption that began on 23 December 2024.

The eruption of one the world’s most active volcanoes continues to captivate onlookers on Hawaii’s Big Island. The latest uptick in activity eruption has remained contained within Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park.
