Two people were killed and three others were injured, including a state trooper, in a series of shootings in Kentucky, authorities said.

A suspect allegedly shot a Kentucky State Police trooper near the Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, KY, and then fled to a church, where they were later found dead, officials said.

Officials say these unknown individuals provided critical aid to the wounded officer before emergency responders arrived on scene.
