Rising DP World Tour talent Angel Ayora has turned down the opportunity to join the LIV Golf League in 2025, according to new report.

Officials with the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia continue talking to the PGA Tour but a separate agreement could be struck with the DP World Tour.

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) – the backers of LIV – have been locked in protracted negotiations with the PGA and DP World Tours for 18 months in a bid to end the division in the sport. That deal, which had an initial deadline of December 2023, appears to have reached a stalemate.

In an Interview with Sports Illustrated, LIV Golf's Ian Poulter said that LIV is indeed paying the fines for LIV players who've been reinstated to the DP World Tour.
