Spanish women’s soccer club Espanyol has expressed “complete discontent” towards the behavior of Barcelona Femení player Mapi León after the two teams faced each other on Sunday.

"There was NO inappropriate touching nor any intention of such, I insist, it's just a part of the game that doesn't deserve the attention or importance it's getting," wrote the Barcelona defender and Spanish international in her statement,

Barcelona star Mapi Leon has been accused of violating the privacy of Espanyol’s Daniela Caracas during the match between the two teams on Sunday. Caroline Graham Hansen and Salma Paralluelo scored the goals as Barcelona stormed to a 2-0 victory to extend their lead at the top of the Liga F table to five points.
