Missouri business groups have sued to block the voter-approved Proposition A, which increases the state's minimum wage and mandates paid sick leave.

Several business groups are asking the Missouri Supreme Court to overturn the voter-passed Proposition A, which will raise the state’s minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2026 and mandate paid sick leave.

The law will increase the state's minimum wage from the current $12.30 an hour to $13.75 in January and $15 in 2026. It gives workers up to seven paid sick days per year starting in May.
