Kansas City-area homes belonging to Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were broken into hours apart and burglarized last month, according to authorities and media reports.

According to the Cass County Sheriff‘s Office, just after midnight on Oct. 6, deputies responded to the residence of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in Loch Lloyd after a break-in report.

The Kansas City-area homes of Chiefs stars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes were burglarized last month within 48 hours of each other, PEOPLE can confirm. Kelce was robbed of $20,000, according to police.

According to TMZ Sports, Kelce’s home in Leawood was broken into shortly after the Chiefs’ “Monday Night Football” victory kicked off. TMZ reported $20,000 in cash was taken and the back door was damaged, citing a police document.
