PlayStation has revealed December’s full line-up of PlayStation Plus Extra/Deluxe games. The good news is that there’s some great games such as Sonic Frontiers, Jurassic World Evolution 2 and Forspoken that make up part of the Extra catalogue,

Sony has announced December 2024’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and Classics titles. Unlike December’s PlayStation Plus Essential games, which are available for all subscribers to claim, Game Catalog’s downloadable PS4 and PS5 titles are only available for Extra and Premium tier members.

PlayStation Plus is Sony's version of Xbox Game Pass, and it offers subscribers a large and constantly expanding library of games. There are three plans starting at $10 a month, but each plan gives subscribers access to monthly games and rewards. And from now until Jan. 6, subscribers can play a game based on the sci-fi horror series Alien.

December’s first additions to the PlayStation Plus Classics Catalog have been released. PS2 games Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, and Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy are now available for PlayStation Plus Premium members to claim.

Sony is adding a recent Sonic game, Jurassic World Evolution 2, the divisive Forspoken, and a Star Wars VR experience to its large PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. All these games arrive just in time for being stuck indoors due to snow and family gatherings.
