Officers were called about 7:15 a.m. to a report of two men fighting with knives in the 1800 block of West Capitol Avenue near the Mercy Housing complex, according to archived radio dispatch calls reviewed by The Sacramento Bee. The incident happened near Westacre Road, police said online.
