For the second time in less than a year, the U.S. Department of Labor has found children working for a sanitation contractor at a Sioux City packer.

Despite changing sanitation contractors, children continued to work in dangerous occupations at this facility," a federal labor official said.

Qvest has been fined $171,919 in penalties for violating child labor laws and must take measures to ensure it doesn't hire minors illegally in the future.
