Summit Carbon filed a new permit application to build a CO2 pipeline in South Dakota, the last state necessary to fully build its 2,500-mile project.

Summit is suing Bremer County after winning court judgements against two other Iowa counties over their pipeline rules

The ruling comes after a landowner in Hardin County refused to let Summit Carbon Solutions onto his private property to survey the land for potential pipeline usage.
