The Kansas City Chiefs’ most important catch happened not during their win against the Carolina Panthers on November 24, but after: when a quick-thinking Tershawn Wharton caught a young fan who fell from the stand above him.

As Wharton and his teammates were walking back into the locker room following the game, there was a kid in the stands trying to catch his attention. The child leaned on the wall over the tunnel and accidentally tipped over it.
