On Friday, safety Jordan Whitehead (pectoral), defensive back Tykee Smith (knee) and outside linebacker Markees Watts (hamstring) were ruled out of Sunday's matchup against the Panthers. In addition, outside linebacker Joe Tryon-Shoyinka (ankle) was listed as doubtful.

The team announced on Friday that wide receiver Jalen Coker and tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders are out for Sunday’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Coker injured his quadriceps ahead of last week’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs while Sanders (neck) exited the game after landing on his head at the end of a 10-yard reception.
