An FAA spokesperson said no decision had been made on the contract, which was awarded to Verizon ( NYSE: VZ) back in 2023. To note, the agency began testing Starlink systems at its facilities in New Jersey and Alaska this week, with the aim of increasing reliability at remote sites.
