(UW ATHLETICS) ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Wisconsin men’s hockey team scored twice in the third frame to overcome a two-goal deficit and force overtime before falling, 3-2, in the extra time to the No. 8 Michigan Wolverines on Saturday night at Yost Ice Arena.

The eighth-ranked Wolverines’ losing streak reached three games, falling to Wisconsin 4-0. They have been shut out each of their past three games and have just three goals in their last five.

The Michigan State Spartans have started the season 12-2, but after a tough loss last Friday, they find themselves further down in the polls.
