This has got to be one of the most unique coffee spots in the world. A new Starbucks chain has opened in South Korea, less than a mile from the North Korean border. It's so close that people can even see villagers going about their daily lives in one of the most tightly controlled countries in the world.

U.S. coffee giant Starbucks on Friday opened a shop at a South Korean observatory near the border with rival North Korea, where customers after passing a military checkpoint could drink beverages in the view of a quiet North Korean mountain village.
