Alabama Crimson Tide legend Nick Saban was perturbed when Gillis joked about his teams' paying players. His girlfriend slayed standing next to him on the field.

“GameDay” guest picker and comedian Shane Gillis, a Notre Dame fan, first joked about Saban paying players at Alabama. But the outspoken comic also roasted the coach’s hat, which had drawn comparisons to Indiana Jones throughout the show.

During College GameDay ahead of the first-round College Football Playoff matchup between Indiana and Notre Dame in South Bend, Saban did not seem to appreciate comedian and guest picker Shane Gillis jokingly accusing him of “cheating.”
