Sonic the Hedgehog 3 doesn’t seem to be a Christmas movie, but that hasn’t stopped Paramount from leaning into the fact that the movie is launching less than a week before the holiday. Jim Carrey has at least one scene in the film dressed as Santa Claus,

Paramount has released a series of parody Christmas film posters to promote the upcoming release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Putting a playful spin on some beloved holiday classics, the spoof designs are surprisingly authentic (albeit wonderfully silly – quite frankly I wouldn't expect anything less from the Sonic movie promo).

The original (and infamous) design for Sonic's movie incarnation is now becoming an ugly Christmas sweater, just in time for the next film.

To promote Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Paramount is giving away several Sonic related prizes, including a Christmas sweater featuring "Ugly Sonic!"

The publicity blitz for the theatrical release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is in full swing and the latest poster for the film – which IGN can exclusively debut below – parodies a well known Yuletide movie comedy.
