Brentford captain Christian Nørgaard has completed a transfer to Arsenal, the north London club announced on Thursday. The midfielder spent six years at Brentford and played a key role in establishing the west London side in the Premier League following their promotion in 2021.

Nørgaard is Arsenal’s third signing of the summer (Kepa Arrizabalaga and Martin Zubimendi) with more moves coming soon, it would seem (Gyokeres and Madueke / Eze / Rodrygo). There seems to be a clear shift in strategy towards getting business done and dusted to maximize training camp time for new additions.

Arsenal continue to strengthen their midfield this summer. After securing the services of Martin Zubimendi, the Gunners have officially announced the arrival of Danish international Christian Nørgaard from Brentford.
