The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is set to begin on Tuesday, with the first of two semi-finals taking place this evening. This year's MESC will take place over three days: February 4, 6, and 8, at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre in Ta' Qali and will be hosted by Pauline Agius, Davide Tucci and Valentina Rossi.

The next British musicians have reportedly been revealed as Eurovision fans gear up for this year's glamorous competition in Switzerland.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on Feb. 3 ordering the revival of the Intervision song contest, the Soviet Union's equivalent to Eurovision. The Eurovision Song Contest banned Russia from participation in 2022 following the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

According to RIA, the Russian news agency, after being excluded from Eurovision, Russia, led by Vladimir Putin, has decided to revive Intervision, a musical competition from the Soviet era. The goal is to promote Russian culture and unite countries sympathetic to Russia.
