Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday that Israel would appeal the arrest warrants issued by the ICC last week. This comes after France stated that it would not arrest Netanyahu, citing its obligation to grant immunity to foreign leaders, despite reaffirming its support for the International Criminal Court.

The foreign ministry did not say outright that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel would be free to travel to France, but it argued that an I.C.C. rule on immunity may apply to him.
