A hiker survived a 100-foot fall into icy Lake Serene and was rescued despite serious injuries and hypothermia.

A solo hiker in Snohomish County is alive but seriously injured after plummeting from a 100-foot cliff and into Lake Serene on Sunday night.

A lone hiker in Snohomish County fell off a cliff and into Lake Serene late Sunday. The hiker plummeted down about 100 feet and ended up in the north end of the lake, a Snohomish County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) spokesperson said.

A solo hiker bounced from rocks as he fell 100 feet from a cliff into an icy lake in Washington, deputies said.
