Christine Combs, 34, and Beverly Gumm, 72, were killed Sunday after a gunman opened fire on churchgoers at the Richmond Road Baptist Church in Lexington, the Lexington Police Department said. Both women were members of the church, while two male congregants were also wounded – one critically, according to cops.

The coroner's office has confirmed the identity of the shooter as 47-year-old Guy House, who killed two women at Richmond Road Baptist Church after he injured a KSP trooper at the Blue Grass Airport.
Former Lexington Police Chief Anthany Beatty said from the outside looking in, the agencies responded to the Bluegrass Airport and Richmond Road Baptist Church scenes in textbook fashion.
At approximately 11:36 AM local time, a suspect shot a person at Blue Grass Airport, causing serious injuries. The trooper was rushed to a hospital and reported stable. The exact location within the airport (terminal or parking area) remains unclear, but the incident caused panic, with passengers fleeing.
