Pirates center fielder Oneil Cruz will take part in the 2025 Home Run Derby, set to take place at the Atlanta Braves’ Truist Park on Monday, July 14.

Oneil Cruz, who has continued to hit homers and swipe bags for the Pittsburgh Pirates, has joined Cal Raleigh, Ronald Acuña Jr. and others as part of next week's Home Run Derby field.

On Tuesday, Cruz took to Instagram to announce that he'll be participating in the Home Run Derby. He's the fifth star to lock himself into the festivities, joining hometown hero Ronald Acuña Jr., Washington Nationals phenom James Wood, MLB's home run leader, Cal Raleigh, and Minnesota Twins star Byron Buxton.
