Pakistani security officials said India fired missiles across the border into Pakistani-administered territory in at least three locations early Wednesday, killing at least one child and injuring two other people.

India said it had carried out a "precision strike" on "terrorist camps" - but Pakistan's defence minister said all the targets hit were civilian places, not militant camps.
