Michael Mizrachi claimed the $10 million first prize by winning the $10,000 buy-in No-limit Hold’em World Championship and was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame afterward.

At the end of day 9 of the 2025 World Series of Poker main event, Jeff Platt interviewed overwhelming chip leader Michael Mizrachi. When asked what it would take to finish the job, the 44-year-old poker pro from South Florida simply said, “An hour.”

While Mizrachi’s victory dominated headlines, another historic achievement unfolded at the 2025 Main Event final table. Spain’s Leo Margets became only the second woman to reach the Main Event final table since Barbara Enright accomplished the feat in 1995, earning $1.5 million for her seventh-place finish.
