Tiger Woods has announced that he will not compete at the Hero World Challenge in December. Woods, who hosts the event in the Bahamas, has not played since The Open, more than four months ago. He underwent back surgery in September.

Woods, who underwent a back procedure in September, said he was “disappointed” by not being able to compete this year at the star-studded Hero World Challenge.

Tiger Woods will be going to Hero World Challenge as a tournament host only. Woods disclosed on social media channels that he won't be playing in the Bahamas.
