Metro police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in the north Las Vegas valley. The shooting occurred Friday night in the 1800 block of North Las Vegas Boulevard near Jerry’s Nugget Casino.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is looking for a suspect involved Friday in an officer-involved shooting. Police said Jaime Mendoza, 54, should be considered armed and dangerous. Mendoza may also be injured.
