Catarina Ferreira finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds and Oregon State wrapped up its first season in the West Coast Conference with a tournament championship, ending two-time defending champion Portland’s 13-game win streak with a 59-46 victory.

After losing nearly their entire roster from their Elite 8 squad last season, the Oregon State women’s basketball team was expected to be in rebuild mode while transitioning to the West Coast Conference.

Despite losing most of last year’s Elite Eight roster, Oregon State women’s basketball won the WCC tournament and will dance again in March Madness.
