Israel hits Lebanon with its largest wave of airstrikes since agreeing to a ceasefire with Hezbollah, as both sides accuse each other of violations.

The truce called for a 60-day halt in fighting, which aims to end more than a year of war between Hezbollah and Israel that’s part of a wider regional conflict sparked by the devastating Israel-Hamas war in Gaza.

Both sides have accused each other of violating the deal; Hezbollah fired into Israel for the first time since the truce took effect, and Israel responded with airstrikes.
