Post Malone has been named Record Store Day Ambassador for 2025. This year's event will take place on Saturday, April 12th.

The announcement comes a little less than two weeks from when the Grammys are set to take place, later than Trevor Noah has been lined up as host in past years.

Recording Academy said the telecast of the 2025 Grammy will raise funds to aid Los Angeles wildfire relief efforts and honour bravery of the first responders.

As many parts of Los Angeles remain on fire, The Recording Academy has announced they’re moving forward with the 2025 Grammy Awards ceremony as scheduled. The award show will take place on February 2.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that the 2025 edition of Record Store Day is set to be held on April 12. Every year, RSD organizers also appoint a celebrity ambassador to be the face of the annual campaign, and it was just announced that for 2025, that honor will go to Post Malone.

Set to take place on April 12, Record Store Day returns for its 18th year in 2025, celebrating close to two decades of supporting physical media, independent artists, and brick-and-mortar record stores. Now, Malone has been announced as the artist who is being honored with the title of 2025’s Record Store Day’s Ambassador.

Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli xcx, Doechii, RAYE, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira and Teddy Swims will perform at the Grammys. Comedian Trevor Noah will host the show for the fifth consecutive time.
