Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey has ordered flags at state buildings and properties to temporarily go back to full staff Jan. 20 to mark Inauguration Day. Ivey announced the order Monday.

"On January 20th, the flags at the Capitol will fly at full-staff to celebrate our country coming together behind the inauguration of our 47th President, Donald Trump," Johnson said in a statement. "The flags will be lowered back to half-staff the following day to continue honoring President Jimmy Carter.”

Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe has ordered U.S. and Missouri flags to be flown at full-staff on January 20, 2025, at all state buildings and grounds in honor of Inauguration Day. Flags will fly at full-staff for 24 hours, according to the executive order.
