The Dallas Cowboys have chosen coordinator Brian Schottenheimer as the 10th coach in franchise history, Jerry Jones told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
“Brian Schottenheimer is known as a career assistant,” Jones said, per ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter. “He ain’t Brian no more,” Jones puzzlingly added. “He is now known as the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.”
Koger landed in Atlanta before the 2024 season started, spending the year working under offensive coordinator Zac Robinson.

Schottenheimer began his coaching career back in 1997 when he landed an assistant position with the St. Louis Rams. Over the years, he has served on the coaching staff for teams such as the Washington Commanders, Los Angeles Chargers, New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars and several others.
