Back-to-back NCAA Tournament champion UConn narrowly avoided falling out of the AP Top 25 college basketball poll entirely on Monday after an 0-3 week at the Maui Invitational in which it lost to three unranked teams in as many days.

Kansas continues to occupy the No. 1 spot in the Associated Press Top 25 poll after being one of the few major programs to come away unscathed

It was the second time in AP poll history, according to ESPN Stats & Information, that AP-Top 5 teams lost at least five games in a calendar week in November (following Nov. 21-27 in 2021). Look at the rest of last week's AP Top 25 and there were more upsets and surprise results.

Kansas (7-0), which beat Duke last week, had increased its margin on the No. 2-ranked team each week since the preseason poll and had a 107-point margin on the Huskies last week.
