The Detroit Lions signed three-time Pro Bowl safety Jamal Adams this week, weeks after Adams requested his release from the Tennessee Titans . Adams has been one of the best safeties in the National Football League since being drafted out of LSU with the sixth pick of the 2017 NFL Draft by the New York Jets .

Jamal Adams didn't want to sign with any NFL team when he was searching for a new home. Adams wants to win a Super Bowl, which is why he agreed to sign on the Detroit Lions' practice squad.  The Lions are 11-1 and are tied for the best record in football.

The road back to relevancy for former Seattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams has led him to the Motor City. On Sunday it was announced Adams was signing with the Detroit Lions practice squad, with the expectation of being elevated to the Lions’ active 53-man roster.
