Scotland may not have 'metro mayors' like London or Manchester, but there are surely few with even a passing knowledge of local politics who are unfamiliar with the leader of Glasgow City Council.

Two sessions will be held to gather people's views on plans to revamp the city's waterfront before a planning application is submitted.
