FOX 11’s Matthew Seedorff reports from the front line of the Hughes Fire. From his vantage point along Lake Hughes Road, flames were racing up the hillside, engulfing trees and power poles.

The Hughes Fire has spread over 8,096 acres after starting just before lunchtime in Los Angeles County's Castaic Lake area on Wednesday.
