The Galaxy's mission just became far more complicated. Riqui Puig, the exceptionally mobile Spanish talisman, won't be there.

The LA Galaxy announced on Sunday that midfielder Riqui Puig tore the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee during the Western Conference final against Seattle Sounders FC on Saturday night.

Call them the Road Warriors. New York has already recorded road wins against Columbus, New York City FC, and Orlando City SC. Playing the final on the Galaxy home field, in the Galaxy home stadium, Red Bulls are the underdog, but as they showed so far, they don’t care.
