Sporting were punished by UEFA last week after fireworks were set off during their 4-1 victory over Manchester City earlier this month. The club were fined €25,000 (£20,800) and hit with a partial stadium closure of sector A14 of the Jose Alvalade Stadium. The stadium closure, however, was suspended during a probationary period of two years.
