UCF head coach Gus Malzahn is resigning and will become the new offensive coordinator at Florida State, according to a report from ESPN's Pete Thamel.

Malzahn, whose team finished a 4-8 season with a 28-14 home loss Friday night to Utah, is stepping down to become the new offensive coordinator at FSU. ESPN first reported the move late Saturday afternoon, and UCF announced it via social media shortly thereafter.
