Lakers forward Dalton Knecht bounces back from a slow start with a 25-point breakout in NBA Summer League, silencing early critics.

He was selected in the first round of the 2024 NBA draft (No. 17 overall) by the Lakers. During his rookie season, Knecht played 78 games, averaging 9.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.3 steals per game.

Bazley has 27 points, including the game-winning dunk on a putback with 13 seconds left, and Knecht shakes off his shooting slump to score 25 in an 89-88 win in San Francisco.
